have been on diet for one week, I fasted mon, wed, fri, need to lose quite a bit of weight, Hopefully i'm not sabatoging myself by doing three days. Didn't seem too bad. Now starting my second week and my fast day is today, I seem to feel more hungry, I have lost some weight and feel good about that,I'm hoping that i can keep it up.

Hi Ginny & welcome!

Well done on embarking on the intermittent fasting lifestyle. We've got a few members doing 4:3 instead of 5:2, but comparatively little data about its effectiveness. So far it does seem that women on 4:3 don't lose much more than those on 5:2 but the more people trying it the better picture we'll get of the results.

Best wishes for your fast days - come keep yourself occupied by reading through the forums when you find yourself feeling hungry - it's a great distraction!
