Hubby and I have have just started the 5:2 diet today, hubby has decided he wants to do the two fast days together, he says he'd much prefer to get it out the way although I'm not convinced! Anyway we've done day 1 and I'm off to bed soon and pleased to say we're not feeling too bad at all!
Previously I tried (on my own - hubby not up for it !) a full days fast once each week and felt loads better for it but found the fast day very difficult, the 500 calories a day is definitely very much easier.
