Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi All

Managed to lose 3.5lb in 3 weeks but then the last 2 weeks i have not managed to get through a whole fast day. Trying again today as disappointed that i have put the weight i lost back on.

Trying to have a small lunch and then dinner as dont think i will last until 7pm without eating.

Good luck to everyone else fasting today x

Hello benange
good on you for persevering. Changing habits can be really tough- each time you think you don't manage, you're practising for getting better at it the next time. And it can take quite a few practise runs, so don't beat yourself up.
How do you do your fast? If you find it tough, you could consider splitting all your cals up and having mini meals throughout the day. Some people swear by sock cubes and bullion to stave off the grumbles. And it seems to be that planning really helps get through the day too.
Good luck and do come back and let us know how you get on.
