Hello everyone,

I'm happy to see so many newbies today, I'm new too, I did my first fast day on Saturday, and I'm planning to do another one on Wednesday.

I'm 34, I live in Paris and I'm a vegetarian (and actually vegan most of the time).

I'm really excited about this, just reading through some of the stories on here is really motivating, I feel this could really be the start of something big!

Look forward to reading you all,

Nicky

Hi Nicky and welcome! :)

You'll find there are quite a few veggies and vegans already here, and a number of veggie recipes in the recipe section.

I've been aware of this diet for some time but the Horizon show aired in Australia last night so I was tempted to jump in.

First day today - I did exercise this morning as I do about 5 days a week (not sunday but thats my day off everything so no plans to fast then:)) so it will be interesting to see how that works out. So far so good.

I'm currently spreading my calories out over the day but might experiment with eatingit all in one sitting on future fast days - not really sure whihc is best.

I don't really have a huge amount of weight to lose but I am interested in the other health benefits - plus just a rest one or two days a week from thinking about food!(well eventually I hope) I suspect I'll move on to 6:1 after a few weeks and a bit of fat loss.
