The FastDay Forum

Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

first fast done
22 Apr 2013, 23:45
well, yesterday was my first fast , I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and mentally satisfying it was. I am looking forward to going again tomorrow and find I don't feel the need to guts myself today. The wife did not fair so well unfortunately.
Its big for me as the doctor just told me Ive hit the obese class as it hit 100kg....damn scary, but Ive tried all the diets and the weight comes off ...im miserable and then it goes back on. I love a few lagers and have a soft spot for the type of foods the generally accompany such pursuits.
I fell like Ive finally found something i can stick at for life...have my cake.....and eat it too
