Afternoon... I'm new here & thought I'd say hi... Today is my first day of fasting... Last ate at 5pm yest & after a bit of research I see that a lot don't eat for at least 16hours after so that's what I did.. I had a small banana & a hard boiled egg for brekkie then for lunch I have a pre made ham egg & potato salad with a low fat yogurt & dinner is soup all which comes in at 491calories.. Thought today would be quite hard especially as I've been up since 430am for work however it's been ok & I'm rather enjoying it!!.. Ill be using my fitness pal to track calories on eating days just so I don't eat too much too often until I settle in...

Sounds like you're doing really well for your first fast, especially having planned it all out so well!

Thanks.. I thought fasting days would need prior planning if I was to succeed & it seems to have done the job today.. I intend another fast on thurs & maybe one on Sunday as I have a family gathering Saturday & will be eating/drinking more than usual
