Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

I started the 5:2 diet a week ago, I actually did my first fast day as a complete fast (no food) and didnt find it as hard as I thought I would, in fact I think it taught me what FEELING HUNGRY IS LIKE. On my second fast day I just had a fat free yoghurt and some blueberries.

My starting weight was 13 stone 3Lb and after my 2 fasting days I had already lost 6lbs so I am really pleased with the results so far.
Well done Paula, especially on doing a 0 cal fast! I'm not sure I could, at least not without going to bed really early!

Thanks, was really hungry in the evening and tempted to break my fast but having already gone from dinner the night before I was determined to see it through.

Amazingly when I woke up the next morning I didn't feel hungry at all and didn't have breakfast until after my workout about 11.30.

I suffer from MS and have been on the verge of a relapse, after one week I already feel reinvigorated.
