Hello jojo333 and welcome.
There are lots of recipes in the recipe section for fasting days and tips for what to eat in the FAQ section.
Basically you can have whatever you like in whatever combination you want.
Some folk have 3 small meals, some save all their calories for a main meal at night, some have breakfast and dinner, some lunch and dinner! So many combinations.
One thing that does seem consistent is that lots of vegetables give you fill up with few cals and fruit is quite cal heavy.
I have one meal- dinner of 2 poached eggs with 2 toast and then some yoghurt or semolina with raspberries and dried apricots (to keep me regular!)
oh and lots and lots of water!
Hi. There's a thread somewhere which people all commented on what they ate on a typical fast day - can't remember what it's called, but if you can find that, it'll give you a good idea of the variety of things people eat.
I go a straight 24 hours of only water and maybe a few green teas, then at dinner time on my fast day, I mostly have a lot of veggies or salad, with some protein - maybe a chicken thigh or a small steak or poached eggs. Then it's another 12 hours until breakfast. You can eat your 500 calories anytime on your fast day, so experiment with what suits you best.
Thank you, i will have a look and see how i get on next fast day is Thursday, im a coffee addict too! but i will try and refrain on my fasting days. Oh i cant find the reciepe menu ive looked but cant see it, but i have an idea what i can have..thanks everyone.

it might not be a good idea to cut back on your coffee as you might go into caffeine withdrawal which is horrible. Similarly if you drink more than usual you might go into overload. I would suggest having the amount of coffee you usually have (remember to count cals for milk and sugar) and have lots and lots of other low/no cal fluid.
