The two calculators I have used say its 2200 if I'm sedentary, this seems quite high to me? or is this about right for a 28yo 5ft7" female?

Give it a try for a few weeks, you can always adjust it down if need be, as you lose weight you will have to lower it so the higher you can start the better to my way of thinking!

Sounds about right but assuming u exercise -it seems too good to be true doesn't it!

28 / f / 72 kg / 1.7m - 2200 for sedentary sounds a bit high.

1780 - 1850 from 3 calculators in wide use.

2070 from a US Institute of Medicine method, or 2380 if you walk 8 miles a day at 4 mph
