If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

;) Hi there. Been following the 5:2 since 8th January and have lost 7lb so far. Very easy to follow and finding the urge to snack curbed on "feeding" days too. Feels like this could be very sustainable in the long term. Very excited about it... ;)

hi there- well done!!!! what a good loss and you seem to really love it- me too!! I think it's just great to be in charge and not have to pay a slimming club!!!Keep us updated! Glad you found us! ursula

Thanks ujs! Yes have been reading the forum now for a week or so but just hadn't got round to joining. Great to see how the membership is increasing. As this is a relatively new way of dieting it's good to have somewhere to share experiences, recipes etc.
