Hello....

Hi

Just signed up for the forum... decided to give this a go and started last week, so have now done 4 days of fasts

Starting weight was 10'10 and I'm aiming for 8'10 or even a bit lower if possible....

I'm aiming for 5:2 but I will move days around each week to suit work and family stuff as I find it much easier to keep control of what I eat when I am at work

I am aso getting back into running too after a couple of months of not doing much exercise ...I have built up to running 10k in the past several times but let it go each winter for a variety of reasons - it'll be interesting to see what happens once I build the running up beyond short intervals - I've usually run early morning before eating so I'm hoping running on fasting days will work too...

Hi,
I've done the first 2 fast days this week; my hubby is also following the 5:2 although he is doing a lot of exercise (running) during the week as well. Luckily we've not found it too bad and interestingly enough we're found that we're now both more aware of what we eat over the rest of the week

I've really lost the habit of running so think its great you're getting back to it. At the moment I think about it but that's as far as it goes!! I used to run regularly but let it slip, we have a superb running machine at home too but even that's too much to think about at the moment as its dark and cold when I get home. Yes I'm a wuss!

I haven't found the fast days too bad either but it does seem that once I start eating on the other days its much harder to stop.....

I am using myfitnesspal to track calories and have to remind myself constantly that I can eat more the other days than it suggests as I set it up to lose weightt

Ism envoy's of a treadmill tho.... I run outside and it was a bit chilly thus evening when I went out with both my kids for company - they are 14 and neatly 12 so it's not cruel st all ;)
