Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

1st week done-2lbs lost!!
01 Feb 2013, 14:51
Just started the 5:2 a few days ago, fasted Tue/Thu which I found (surprisingly) not as hard as I had expected. Saw a 2lb loss on the scales this morning which I'm more than pleased with & feel really motivated. What I'm a bit worried about are the weekends as that's where I always seem to ease off watching the calories just a bit too much! It's not so much the food but the wine/vodka I find hard to resist! Im hoping though that if I can do my 2 fast days each week & keep an eye on my calorie intake the rest of the week I should still keep losing weight-fingers crossed! Was wondering, does anyone keep an eye on the amount of fat they're taking in or just calories, both on fast & feast days?
