The FastDay Forum

Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Happy to meet you!

Hello Everyone
We (husband and I) decided to have a fast day today after too much over-indulgance and failed dieting so I was delighted to find this friendly website quite by chance. We'd seen the TV programme and thought then it seemed sensible and manageable.
Thanks for the positive posts I've been reading and useful info such as recipes. I know we're going to enjoy this journey.
My current weight is 12st ( too much for a 5'2", arthritic, 62 year old Nana of 7 who keeps forgetting she's not 32)and Rob's weight is 14st 2lbs and height 5'10".
Am looking forward to good results.

Welcome! We're glad to have you join us :-)

I too am on the program with my husband - and we also keep forgetting we're not 32. You're in excellent company!
