If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi all. Just introducing myself - found my way here from a Facebook group. I first tried the 5:2 diet in October and lost a fair amount in the lead up to Christmas, but got a bit derailed by the holidays and a trip to the US.

I'm slowly getting back on track now - did one week properly (2 fasts) and lost what I'd put back on, then 2 weeks with only one fast due to social obligations (but that's what I like about this diet - doing one fast doesn't seem to derail me and keeps me at least maintaining). Back to two this week and looking forward to the numbers on the scale starting to go down again!

My goal is to lose about 3 1/2 stone.

Looking forward to getting to know people here!

Hi Anne & welcome! Isn't it great that we can move our fast days around or even cut back on them to fit in with our lives? Definately a great way to live :)
