I started the 5:2 diet last Monday after reading The Fast Diet book over the weekend. I saw the Horizon show last year but was doubtful whether I could cope with fasting. Anyway, I fasted last week on Tuesday and Thursday....and it was actually OK. I didn't feel crazy with hunger and I lost 2lbs. So, I'm going to give this a go as nothing else seems to work for me and I'm desperate to shift the extra fat that has expecially settled on my middle.
