The FastDay Forum

Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hello, my name's Dawn and just joined the site.

I was first made aware about this diet through a friend last week. I have been overweight with high blood pressure most of my life but 18 months ago decided to do something about it, I have lost in total 71lbs but am finding it increasingly difficult to loose the last 24lbs.

This diet/way of life seems perfect and the principal doesn't sound too outlandish or faddy.

I look forward to talking to others on the fasting path :D

Hi & welcome Dawn :)

Well done on your amazing weight loss so far!
I think we can all relate to how difficult the last chunk of weight can be to lose. Hopefully with the lifestyle change to 5:2 you'll be able to shift the rest of it relatively easily!
