If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!
I was like you, I've done slimming world and weight watchers and lost weight on both, but also put weight back on, I'm nearly 42 and don't want to be in the same overweight unfit state when i reach 50 as I was when I reached 40!
So time for a long overdue change...this diet seemed like the perfect choice for me, I've been on it a week and my first fast day was a challenge but my second fast day on Monday was brilliant, i didn't feel hungry, I even went and sat in a cafe with my boyfriend while everyone was eating big meals round me and it still didn't bother me, I felt in control and it was a great feeling, not one I've had for a long time when it comes to food.
My first weigh in tomoro so we'll see how it goes...but good luck and hope your first week and fast day goes well for you
Thanks for the good wishes - it's nice to know someone else has shared the same failings at slimming groups that aren't sustainable when you stop going to a class (and handing over money each time you go) this looks really manageable to me - can't wait for my first weigh in - its my first fast day tomorrow.
