If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Another new starter.....

Hi all, so glad I found this forum. Have been interested in trying 5:2 since seeing MM on Horizon programme but could never seem to get going. Tried a few "Taster" days fasting before Christmas and found that I seem to do better going without proper set meals throughout the day saving the majority of my calories for main meal. Will fast Monday and Thursday unless something stops me on either day, then will just change day. Simples!! Good luck to everyone!!
