For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi all, just bought the book after seeing the programme last year

Retired last summer and joined a gym, shocked at my first proper weighing and measuring session on their 'biggest gainer' programme.
Have been dieting since then , and lost 18 pounds, but reached a bit of a plateau, so decided to start the 5:2 plan with my husband this week. Think we will do Tuesdays and Thursday's
Next weighing session: Friday!

Are you fasting today or starting next Tuesday?

I will be starting properly next tuesday as I had a work do,this thursday. But I did a fast this tuesday,and will see how it goes as I get into a routine.
