Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi DJ & Welcome :)

Did you do 2 days in a row? If so, wow! That's not easy - I've tried it. It's actually recommended to not do consecutive days, in part because it's difficult for most to keep at it week upon week but also because of the risk of your body going into starvation mode.

Totally agree though that food after a fast day (actually food on the fast day itself!) tastes sooo good!

Hi Moogie, Yes 2 days in a row, started at 8pm on Sunday and fasted until 12 noon on Monday - had some fruit for lunch and then roasted veg for dinner. Did the same from starting 8pm on Monday - hopefully will be able to keep this up each week but will change days if necessary !
