Hi all.
found this site so helpful, so thought id join you.
I'm on my fourth week and 8th fast day of 5.2, after watching horizon and getting the book.
I'm doing ok have lost 10lb so far, so I'm a happy bunny.
But have noticed this week on feed days if I have junk ie crisps or chocolate I get awful tummy ache.... Anyone else noticed this.
As a certified chocoholic this is not making me happy.

Hi Chocobunny & welcome :) Glad to hear 5:2 is working well for you so far, aside from the tummy ache. I definately notice my body telling me if I've eaten too much junk, but I find that a bonus as it means I can eat some choc/cake/biccies etc but know not to have too much as my tummy will complain. It helps me control how much junk I eat :)

Are you finding you get it with even a little junk food or just if you indulge?

Hi moogie, thanks for the welcome.
yes only had a packet of crisps the other day ( normal size too) and had a real bad stomach all afternoon.
Still as you say can only be a good thing I suppose , my body is telling me to eat nutritious food which if I listen will help me manage my weight going forward.
Another positive for this way of eating eh.
