Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

First day on the fast diet
07 Feb 2013, 21:05
I have just completed the first day on this diet and I really like the idea of it. I recently gave up smoking and have put on quite a bit of weight since then. I'd really like to loose weight, but would also like to feel healthier.

Found it reasonably easy today, I decided to have my 500 calories as one evening meal rather than two smaller meals. Drank lots of water and chamomile tea. Hopefully I'll be able to keep it up!

Hi Spootbug and welcome! :)

Lots of us find it easier to save all our calories for one evening meal as eating during the day just makes us more hungry.

Good luck! :)
