The FastDay Forum

Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Here we go
07 Feb 2013, 21:18
I started last week on Tuesday and Thursday and lost 4lb. Really surprised. On day 2 for this week so going to weigh again tomorrow morning. I'm not expecting to see as much loss as last week, hoping for 1lb though.
I managed to talk my husband into joining me this week, so his 1st weigh in will be tomorrow morning. He doesn't need to lose as much as me, he is much taller.
I hope that we can keep each other motivated, it is the health benefits that I am really after, but the weight loss is the initial driver to hopefully keep motivated in the 1st few weeks.

Hi Mary, and welcome. :)

My husband has joined me too, and I find it much easier having someone alongside for moral support if I need it.
