I have been intermittent fasting since September. I have lost about 10-12 pounds depending on which scales I use.
Some weeks I lose nothing but I dont mind as I am mainly doing this for the health benefits. I have reached middle age and have a very strong family history of heart disease and cancer. I would like to live to see my grandchildren which sadly did not happen for my parents.
I am just above a healthy bmi but I try to keep healthy and exercise 2-3 times a week. My genetics may be against me but I will do whatever I can to help myself. If I can be slim as a side effect that will be wonderful.
I cant pretend that I love to fast (just as I do not LOVE to exercise) but I do love the feeling I get from gradually getting fitter and healthier. Onwards....
