For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hello! I have just registered so to introduce myself...

I have been intermittent fasting since September. I have lost about 10-12 pounds depending on which scales I use.

Some weeks I lose nothing but I dont mind as I am mainly doing this for the health benefits. I have reached middle age and have a very strong family history of heart disease and cancer. I would like to live to see my grandchildren which sadly did not happen for my parents.

I am just above a healthy bmi but I try to keep healthy and exercise 2-3 times a week. My genetics may be against me but I will do whatever I can to help myself. If I can be slim as a side effect that will be wonderful.

I cant pretend that I love to fast (just as I do not LOVE to exercise) but I do love the feeling I get from gradually getting fitter and healthier. Onwards....

I have just joined the forum too. I have been doing IF for two weeks and getting on much better than I ever thought I would. My Mum has recently been diagnosed with cancer so I am keen to do anything I can to keep myself healthy. I follow The Harcombe Diet on my other 5 days so hopefully I am doing my best.

What is the Harcombe Diet? I haven't heard of that.
