I found a link to an alternate day fasting site which had a "calculator" to work out suggested calories for your down and up days. I was eating just a little too much on the down / fast days so I have changed that and the weight seems to be shifting again. I've joined this forum as it is great to hear about other people's success stories and learn from their top tips!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!
If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Weight loss was great to start with then slowed down. But I seem to be back on track now!
Good luck Ginty - hope it agrees with you - I feel better as a result of this way of eating which is a bonus on top of the weight loss.
