Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hello everybody,
at the beginning of the year I was thinking about what I eat, mainly ready meals from Waitrose, and planning to change to fresh food of some sort. I was thinking about salt levels mainly.
I saw some womens recipes in Radio Times for 500 calories and was looking just to see what the food was, not the calories. Some time after that I saw the book and bought that for the types of food. I'm not a cook and have no real interest in food other than as fuel.
Read the book and browsed this forum for a week or so then one day realised it was well past mid day and not having eaten decided to only have 600 calories. Enjoying it so far.
I have 3 normal days, 1 small day, 2 normal days and 1 small day.
How's the 5:2 going? Still doing it? Enjoying it?
Yes indeedy.
