If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!
Welcome, 5:2 is great because you can be bad at the weekend! A lot of folk say you should fast on busy working days as it keeps your mind of things but I haven't had a problem with that. I work every second Monday, fasting every Monday. I find I get my housework done quicker leaving me to my hobbies -cardmaking, which I seam to have more concentration for. Many people feel there concentration is sharpened by fasting. I manage to resist the Mars bars in the cupboard by reminding myself that fasting is only for today and I can do what I like tomorrow. I also have a glass of water in the lounge and one in the kitchen and another in the back room where I craft so that if I do get distracted they are at hand.
