Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Week 2
11 Feb 2013, 15:08
Started my second week & fast no. 3 today. At my weigh in this morning I was exactly the same as last Monday after it went up & down during the week, but I did eat an awful lot this weekend as I went out with friends on Sat night and had a day of hangover eating yesterday so I was actually ok with that, as normally I'd expect a gain after a weekend like that, plus my waist has gone down by 2 inches so that's a real step in the right direction.

Just had two coffees with milk today and so will have almost 400 cals for dinner tonight - looking forward to that! :D

Good to hear it's going well - can't go wrong when you know you can at least maintain weight despite a bout of indulgence :) ...and that's probably only temporary weight from the day of excess, if your waist is anything to go by. No doubt the scales will go down for you next week :D
