For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi all, I am just starting my third week of the 5:2 plan and have lost around 3.5 lbs already! By far the easiest diet I have ever tried. I have a good 3-4 stone to lose so I fully intend to continue with this and reap the health benefits too! Looking forward to reading all your stories and tips

Hi Socks & welcome!
Well doen on your loss so far - I'm sure you'll be saying goodbye to the rest of that weight in no time!
I've been doing this for 6 months now and have lost just under 2 and a half stone, need to lose at least another stone, maybe a bit more.

It's amazing how easy this lifestyle is and how encouraging all the results are!

Please feel free to add your stats to the progress tracker to get a graph of how you're doing and to see how other members of the forum are doing too :)
