Thyroid is a big, fat, obnoxious monster which is eating kilos and adding them to our body weight.
BUT, 5:2 is the monster hunter that will chase the monster and kill its appetite for kilos!!!

Hi All. I have just joined the forum as I am seriously considering trying this diet but had a few reservations due to having thyroid problems.

It has been great to read all your posts on this. I have no thyroid at all as I had to have it removed 6 years ago due to having thyroid cancer. I am on a high dose of thyroxie (300mg) daily and was unsure about how this diet would affect me on my fasting days.

Any tips or advice would be much appreciated before I begin.
