I am complete idiot who cannot read her phone's calendar correctly...I'll get my coat!
Haaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Can I post my weight of friday 6th on Tuesday 10th and participate? That wll be about 3 months I think. Unfortunately i don't think I lost much...and my trousers is tight today compared to last week. But I enjoy 5:2 and I like food so I enjoy life!

I also on that week end go away to Cardiff with my husband :) :) :) and leave our children to Grampa so I prefer not to spoil that week end thinking about the little weight I lost if I did lost some.

Thanks.

Total Daily Energy Expenditure - how many calories you use staying alive, moving around, exercising and doing stuff.
Thanks so much to learn!!
I am going away the 6th for the week end so I thought I'll post my progress:

I'm 39 (and a 1/2 lol), 3 children(and a husband). 158cm 68kg
2 years ago I was on Dukan diet (was on various diet before tha too). Then 6 months later reached my goal 58kg...then switched to weight watchers and gained one kilo(2pounds ish)every month. Then got to 68kg!
September I tried 5:2 for 2 months, I lost 4pounds the first month then gained them back the month after.
Had a break between. Did 5:2 during Christmas hols, same ...I lost and gained. Then started again properly in January 7th 68kg.

I got my contraceptive implant out/off my arm the 20th of March.
I take very low dose of antidepressants to cope with my vestibular. I can't do Zumbas and activities like that. Car journey makes me tired because of my condition.
I come from a family who are overweight.
I take vitamins every morning. I am someone who gets cold and tired quickly. And too much sun makes me a bit poorly. I haven't got high energy quite the opposite but I love walking. I am healthy from my blood test in France last year :)

Fast days are Toast bit butter 2 poached eggs salad bit salad cream 1 fruit for dinner.
I love food especially sweet ones. I love being at home.

S I need to change something So I'll try:
Today Sat30thMarch: TDEE:
MFP:1380 cal said sedentary witl 1/2pound off per week or
FS:1400cal sedentary with weight loss
I think that's the best for me: 1380 calories +
Walking, 2.5 mph, leisurely pace 40mns
Cleaning, light, moderate efforts 120mns
Cooking or food preparation 30mns
That will be an average of 1898 calories per day.

So I will try that and see. Wish me luck :)
I have the above in spreadsheet form if anyone wants to play with it. See other thread viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2820
I'm happy to weigh in - will probably need reminding though! I'll be just about to start my 7th week of 5:2 by then. I first weighed myself on Mon 25 Feb so not sure what I weighted on Sat 2 March so should I just say what I weighed on Mon 25 or what I weighed on Mon 04th?
Hiya all- I'm not sure whether to join in or not as since I started, I've only lost 5 pounds, 3 inches off the waist- I'm losing it in other places coz I'm sat working in my skinny jeans which I have never, ever been able to do! So do I add my weight on the 6th and potentially squiff the research numbers, or should I just leave them out as I am obviously a freak of nature who can't shift a ruddy pound on the scales? :) (I'm not down about it, I accept I'm wierd!)
Jude, we need people like you so we can compare people who lose fast with those who lose slowly so, hopefully, we can work out some tips to speed things up!
Cool, I will join in then- I'm also going to take measurements that day too as I didn't take enough at the start. I'm not fussed bout being fat and fit, been that for years, but my knees aren't getting any younger, so am keen to drop the weight too now to ease the wear and tear. I have got a history of WW and calorie restriction, which I think has had a massive effect on my (lack of) weight loss. I don't mind being guinea pigged if it helps other peeps too!
I would love to help with the research! I'm only on day three, but I'm loving this already.
Looks like I will have gained on my start weight, and last months weigh in.

5 days isn't long enough to shed the Easter gain

But all info is useful to understanding this WOL better.
I'll weigh in on Friday. Hope for 2lbs this week, but will be happy with one!
So, being completely new to forums, do I just post my weight/inch loss on here? Sorry, just not sure how it works.
