Not losing weight?

Help us to help you! Please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

not losing

Hi there I have been on the 5:2 since march. I STARTED for my wedding in April and lost 5kgs which I was delighted specially as I had so many funation to go to before!! I went on honeymoon for 11 days didn't fast came back and had put on 2 kgs which was great. I started back to 5:2 and have not lost! I've been bouncing back and forth!! Between 76-74.7kgs for 4 weeks now!! I lover this plan and want to continue
I know I only want to lose another 5kgs but its not moving and I don't know why. By Bmi is 24.8 and by weight at moment is 75.7kgs. I went though early menopause so am on a hrt and a thyroid medication. I didn't have a problem before wedding and am doing the same as before?? Confused!!! Please any advice grateful. regards Jo

Hello jofurniss and welcome to the forum.
Firstly congratulations on your wedding, and the weight loss for that. Now, there are quite a few folk on here with thyroid problems and a fair few threads about it. Hopefully they'll see this and be able to offer advice. Until then, ,if you do a search for fasting with medical problems, and thyroid, some good stuff should come up to give you an idea.

If you were losing before but are not losing now, I suspect you may be eating a little more than you were. This might help you figure it out: 5-2-diet-chat-f6/topic6600.html
