Hooray survived my first day, and now its Tuesday morning, and I'm not even hungry
Hello and welcome Neasey. well done with choosing this WOE and getting through your first fast.
Many people don't get hungry the day after a fast- I'm not one of them :D.
Stick at it and find out what suits you and it'll work.
Let us know how you get on and good luck for future fasts
:clover:
well done! I just did my first fast day yesterday too. I'm so proud of myself for getting it done! and it wasn't so bad. had my brekkie now and feeling good.

good luck for your next fast.

x
I also did my first fast day yesterday I haven't eaten yet but I feel a bit queasy.
First day yesterday, weight has crept up to 175lbs which is 12 st 4lbs, would like to be around 10 stone. Tried this fasting thing waaaaaaay back in April and couldn't stick to it..... Made me much too grumpy. Determined this time. Did yesterday, kept busy and it was easy to be honest. Then had small roast chicken dinner followed by a scoop of ice cream for dinner, which was nice. Slept well.

Hilariously fast result as hopped on scale this morning out of interest and it was 173.2lbs.

Good start. Am trying to lose about 1.4 pounds a week.

Good luck all! My next day is Wednesday.
Well done to all of you :like: You couldn't give yourselves a better gift, this way of life (WOL) will change you life for the better good luck all of you :clover:

Hey well done for sticking with it! My first one today - so far so good....... think I will be over the 500 b abut 20 calories though so hope that is OK for a first day attempt and considering I am using what I have in already
You'll be fine, even if you are a bit over. If I am out on my fast days (which happens quite often) I stick with protein bars for meals. For the brand I use now, 2 bars is 640 cals. I have done that for many of my fast days and still lost quite well. However, I do make sure that I start my fast in the evening of the night before (no snacking after dinner). And I also delay my post-fast breakfast until I am actually hungry. So that makes the length of my fast longer than 24 hours. Which works for me.
Good idea there hun. once I get going on this and used to it will give it a shot
Well done Heather! I started last week and had my first fast on Friday, my second was Monday. Found the second one much harder but I ate my evening meal much earlier than I did on Friday.

Anyhow keep it up-can't wait to hear your progress xxx
Mondays fast was easy and fun, yesterday's..... Wednesday was hard and difficult. After about 1pm I had a dragging head ache and felt dizzy when driving home from tennis. So I had a bowl of Frosties... Weighed it out about 200 cals. By the time. I got to dinner I inky had 250 cals left, but still had the head ache. I had a kinda kids size portion of spaghetti bolognaise. Around 350 cals It hunk. So. I was 100 cals over. Does that matter much. Still had the headache when I went to bed. Weighed myself this morning 172.8, so yes am down.

Next week I will do the fast Monday and Thursday to have two days between fasts!

So good so far. Need to keep under control this weekend though, as have quite a bit of socialising.
