The journey so far
20 Feb 2014, 01:28
It's my 2nd official fast day and I have mixed feelings about it. Day 1 was successful but I felt dizzy, sick and went to bed early feeling like I'd been hit by a truck! I've noticed that on my feed/feast days I can't seem to satisfy my hunger - did this happen to anyone else when they first started?

Today I made some changes - no breakfast in the morning - it seems to be working much better for me. I don't feel anywhere near as hungry as I did on that 1st day. The only thing my husband could say was "this better bloody work!"

Fingers crossed. I really hope we see some results.

Hi HappyHippie, I'm sorry your first fast was so hard. Maybe you didn't drink enough. Lots of us here like to only eat dinner and find that helps us to be less hungry.
Many people get an appetite reduction after a while, unfortunately I'm one that hasn't but let's hope you do.
Please tell your husband that this "does bloody work", well it does for many people

Hi. HH ! A lot of us have found, after an initial period of overeating on feed days, it settles down, and you find that actually you are less hungry overall,on both fast and feed days..
But like the rest of life is suppose, some days go better than others ..hope your future fast days will be easier for you and you wont be as hungry on your feed days!
