KoalaKube Posting
13 Feb 2013, 19:52
Feb 13 weighed in at 161 this morning. Fasting today had coffee all day (out working so no chance for anything else) and put dinner on as soon as I got home. 6.30pm all eaten. 3/4 portion risotto pronto mushroom and some roasted veg, onion, pepper and courgette and baby tomatoes, a little sprinkle of parmesan. Feeling full and v tired so perhaps a bath and early night.

March 7th Oh Been v busy and haven't posted a progress diary for a while - so putting down my thoughts now whilst sitting in bed with radio, toast and jam and coffee on my day off.

Just weighed in after fast day and am down to 11st 4 lbs thats a total of 18 lbs lost since December 14th - my goal was 20lbs by my birthday on 9th march so we'll see and I won't worry if I don't reach it. Dropped a dress size and can finally fit into the size 14 dress I bought in sale in Jan. Friend said last night that she can see I've lost weight in my face - I seem to be losing my double chin - bye bye and good riddance.

Belly still looks pregnant, but perhaps not so much as before.

I feel good if a little obsessed with fasting I'm thinking oof doing alternate day as I feel I'll be able to give it a go - sometimes I just don't want to/need to eat anything - or perhaps just nibble on a little something delic (actually eating chocolate and cake again) or healthy (actually buying fruit again). This I think is because I have given up booze completely and feel more in control.
Was thinking how easy it would be to slip into controlling food intake mode (ie anorexia) but glad I recognise and am thinking it through.

Went to doc last week got test results and need to get cholesterol down drastically - we're giving it six months on diet and lifestyle changes to see if that works as neither she nor I want to go straight to statins.

Got the diet sorted now need to work on the lifestyle!!

it was my birthday yesterday (9th) and haven't had a fast for a few days - thought that things might go a bit tits up but found I kept it quite normal. Had breakfast in bed just toasted bagel with butter and marmite and milky coffee. No lunch but some flapjacks and crispy cakes (treat from a friend) and 3 victoria sandwich with cream cupcakes made by daugthter instead of big cake. Dinner was 1/3 share of half duck and pancakes - no alcohol as i've not been drinking since December 14th - then skyfall on dvd. Altogether a very nice normal day - so pleased. Went to garden centre tobuy some primroses and stopped off at shop that sells on unwanted clothes saw a lovely jacket in window, but was afraid to try it on as it looked so small (size 12) Egged on by daughter what do you know if fit, looked lovely is now home and is hanging up just waiting to be worn. More incentive to keep going and a lovely cheap birthday present from my girls.
