Snorvey's 5:2 Regime
18 Jan 2013, 11:21
Morning all

Just a quick update

Week 23 & 2 fast days completed this week. I am now back down to pre Xmas 12 st 6lbs. Next target 14.02.13 = 6 months on the 5:2 regime. I'd like to see around a couple of pounds off by then. Then we're getting into cycling season, where I'd like to think a combination of the 2 would get me to my ideal weight (around 11 and a half stone) by mid August, where I hope to drop to a 6:1 +1 (the plus 1 being a 8 or 900 calorie day)

I'm now convinced that apples are my ideal 5:2 food. A Braeburn is 71 calories and a couple of those a day kill my hunger pangs (which aren't ALL that bad to be honest). I had a dry fried (no oil) Tesco stir fry @ 150 cals for dinner and a couple of Weetabix with a dash of semi skimmed (190 cals) before bedtime so I don't go to bed with my belly rumbling.

Woke up this morning feeling fine. A few dried apricot pieces and another couple of Weetabix in the morning, along with an apple at lunchtime sets me up for most of the day. It's Friday tonight though...and that means Indian carry out and wine.

Looking forward to it already. ;)
