Started out on this WOE last Wednesday with my first fast day, only side effect was a 2 day headache however I felt great full energy and positive.

2nd fast day was Sunday and this time went even better, no headache but also the accompanying full of energy and positive.

Decided as I was working night shift last night that I would have today as a fast day as 1) I would be working 8 hours of today 2) going straight to bed when I got in. Work went absolutely fine, didn't feel hungry at all, however I was so busy and my fluid intake was low. Also having to wait almost 10 hours to get my break wasn't brilliant.

Today I am grumpy and not full of energy. Trying to work out why that might be the case and I think I've worked out the following influencing factors:

1) Too tired, only 4 hours sleep following night shift as I'm back to day shift at 07.30 tomorrow morning and need to turn myself around with a good sleep tonight.

2) Too few fluids through the night, meaning I am feeling more hunger today.

On a slight positive though (even though I'm grumpy) at least I am more in tune with my feelings and knowing why I don't feel as great today. Tomorrow is a feast day and even though I am back to work, it's only a 7.5 hour shift so tomorrow night I can treat myself tomorrow. Tomorrow is my first official weigh in and if my sneaky little peek following my 4 hour sleep is anything to go by, I'm going to be really more than happy tomorrow morning.
I get a little like this on some fast days. Today I've been really positive and full of energy but the week before last I found it hard and felt cranky, saying that, I ended up with a migraine and viral infection for the best part of that week so that may have had something to do with it.
I'm terrible without sleep so if you're anything like me, lack of sleep would affect your mood massively, especially with then having to refrain from eating!
Tomorrow is a treat day and Friday will be my next fast day so I hope it's like the first 2 when I felt full of life and energy. Tonight is pamper night, nice hot bubble bath with a good book and a nice long sleep as no work to get up for in the morning. Can't imagine a fast day when being unwell, I would have wanted to make myself feel better with lots of cheesy mash, no good on a fast day. Hope you're feeling better now.
