Pip's Saturday Weigh-In
30 Mar 2013, 12:59
Are there any other Saturday weighers in the house?

I weigh and measure myself once a week - on a Saturday morning. I write my results on the calendar in the kitchen but I thought I'd create this thread so I have an 'online record' of my progress.

So today's results:

1 pound down.
0.5 inch off my waist.
Nothing off my stomach.
1% body fat down (according to those dodgy scales).

:victory: Quite pleased with this week's progress as I had a major carbtastic blow-out on Sunday so was expecting to be disappointed today.

Easter tomorrow, and I think I will be permitting myself to have another blow-out

Hi Pip

I am a Sat weigher. I had a oops moment this morning  1 pound back on but I expected more so that was ok. Had a heavy week last week and the rest of the weekend to go yet. A few meals out and more red wine than usual but I enjoyed myself. Was three pounds off another stone lost before this glitch, just glad I haven't got a sweet tooth at this time of year.
Well done on your loss.

A 1 pound gain is not bad at all if you had a heavy week. I allow myself 1 day each week where I let my hair down - chocolate, pizza, the works. So far this is still producing a 1 pound per week deficit, but I can never let my gorging spill over into other days or, like you, I see a gain.

Great job on the weight loss! Specially with having a heavy carb day.

On other plans if you had a heavy carb day, it would just totally blow the diet. I'm so glad this plan has a lot of room to move. Makes it a more realistic way of eating.

Well done on your progress Pip. Have you put your results onto the progress tracker too? All the info helps. And we have the BIG MONTHLY WEIGH IN next Sunday but the stats can go in from Friday.

Not a great result this week (especially as I did 4:3!)

1 pound up.
Percentage bodyfat the same.

However - my period is due.

Also, I forgot to do measurements  Will measure next week.

So in 3 weeks I've only lost half an inch off my waist. No weight lost. :( THREE weeks people!

Hi Pip, isn't it frustrating when your weight doesn't move? I am having a really concerted effort this week to go back to when I was losing well about a month ago as I think I have relaxed a bit too much on my non fast days and have started eating too much and snacking heaps which is what made me overweight in the first place. Stick with it, we will get there!

I have one binge day per week. I thought that by limiting naughty food to just 24 hours I'd be okay? I eat slightly bellow TDEE on the other non-fast days. :frown:
