Husband's progress
06 Apr 2013, 04:21
My husband and I started the 5:2 WOL about 5 weeks ago. He is really doing well! He isn't weighing himself regularly but just had to take pants in to get altered because they were too loose! After 5 weeks! He has been a bit stricter on the feed days than I have. But great news that this WOL really shows results! :)

Yes it's been working for me too, I had to buy a belt, then get extra notches put into it, then start wearing trousers I put away 15-20 years ago, next I am going to need a new suit...

Some suggestion that 5:2 appeals particularly strongly to men, maybe it's the the 'strictly on' and then 'totally off' regime? Though most 5:2ers are female, based on what we see here anyway.

Congratulations, mamaunl, on your husband's and your weight loss. My husband and I are both 5:2-ing and he is complaining about loose trousers too!

dominic, I agree that my husband likes this WOE because it is no faff! He just eats what he's given on any day and it requires no more thought than that!
