Had a sneaky weigh and measure

and am delighted. 18cms off (ok I measure everywhere but that's 180mm!) and am now 3.3 kg lighter. Still averaging half a pound a week, on the slow boat.
And it's the day after a fast- but I haven't been yet :oops:
Decided that holding out for 2 months to weigh and measure was just a bit masochistic.
Wow that's awesome results :) congratulations!! Wow only weighing every two months I can't imagine doing that haha maybe if I put my scales under lock and key I'm too obsessed (although I shouldn't b) with tracking progress. Anyway go you :) your doing great!!
Well done :like: I tend to try and avoid the scales, I have it in my head, this is not going to work for me, nothing ever does attitude to the scales. I am weighing myself weekly and so far I have to do it at least 3 times just to believe what I'm seeing .. :grin:

Well done! It's my first weigh in tomorrow after a week on this woe it's my third fast today I am doing 5:2 but wanted to fast before weigh in! And I had pizza and garlic bread last night but still kept within 2000 cals!
Well done, gives you a real boost when you see the numbers going down.
Thanks all, was delighted to see 65 - a real psychological boost. 63 will see 10 off so that's the next target. End of May most likely! Definitely on the slow boat and this elephant takes ages to turn!
Wheyyyyy heyyyy!!! I had to have a sneaky weigh in this morning as the suspense was killing - especially after having to put my 'newish' jeans in the recycling box last night - they were nice & snug when I bought them almost 2 months ago. Put them on yesterday and they looked ridiculous! I looked like coco the clown in them! What a boost! So weighing this morning I just had to do and found I've lost 1.8kilos - 3.8kilos so far! Haven't measured tho, will do that on 'national forum progress tracker day!' :lol: I fast every Monday & Thursday too so I'm looking forward to a nice feeling fab day again today! Homemade Stilton & Broccoli soup for tea (from the fast diet recipes!) good luck to all you fellow fasters who's having a sneaky weigh in today! :wink:

I can't imagine waiting two months for some reward from my scales.

I've started weighing every day and recoring it on an App on my phone. I thought it might send me doolally but it's actually quite reassuring to see the losses and gains tying in with what's going on each day.
My mum weighs at the beginning of every month as she loses slowly. I suppose it's horses for courses!

I'm not that restrained for weighing, just lazy. I'm very slow at losing so only wrigh monthly, but managed to miss the forum BIG WEIGH DAY as I was away, and then just thought to get til the next one. Measuring is usually a bit more often, but again, I've been away and really busy. Really noticing it in my clothes though, not just the ones I use to guage with. Work clothes are almost dangerously and annoyingly indecent with their affinity to gravity! So decided it was TIME.
Must try and mind to do it for the forum one this time!
Wonderful results! I'm trying to not weigh myself for 2 weeks, but 2 months sounds nearly impossible :)
Talk about iron will!!! I can't walk past the scales without jumping on them. Sometimes three times a day. It's not obsessive (well it probably is) but they're in the bathroom, I see them, I step on them. If I went two days without my scales I would go mental...or perhaps I already am. Hmmm?

Waiting months, that's like being a kid again waiting for Christmas!!
Hmmmmm, well the sneaky weigh in back fired when I did the'official weigh and measure ' today. Added on 0.8 kg and the tape measure isn't being kind either. So at this rate I'm losing about half a kilo a month. This is not on, very grumpy.
However, eating will not help so fasted today. Was very brave as the forum was down. Tell me I'm good please.


Looked at the wonderful tracker for my cohort and I'm seriously below the average so action is required
PLan of Action
Checked my TDEE and t's around 1800 so calorie counting for the next month to see if I'm overheating or under eating
Weigh tomorrow after a fast, just to see
Maybe weigh daily for a week , again just to see
Get off my arse and do some exercise
That should sort it
Or else....
