If someone had asked me if I wanted to lose nearly 5 kg in just over 2 weeks of effort I wouldn't have believed them.

16 fasts and that's how it's going.

AND the fact that it's over nearly 2 1/2 months (I had a couple of weeks with only 1 fast due to entertaining) makes it more likely to be sustainable

This is not difficult, it just requires willpower 2 days a week!!

Way to go Annie!

I was a bit concerned when I read your title because it sounded too much too fast! But I see you mean 16 fasting days spread over 2 1/2 months of following 5:2.

Still that is c. 1.5 lbs per week so you are doing well. Likely to slow down towards the trend line of 1 lb / 0.4 kg per week from now on (but maybe not, we are all different); as you say it is the sustainability that is key. Thanks for posting.
