Morning everyone. I've weighed in this morning and have lost another 1lb, plus half an inch from both my waist and my hips. Really pleased as it's been a while since the scales have read this low, but at this stage I think I was still hoping for a little more. I think I over did the feeding last weekend, and ended up having too much bread, so I'll be more attentive to that this weekend and see if I can have a better loss next week. I'll possibly go a little lighter on the wine too. )
It's happened I have gained 1 pound but I still have to remain positive ,i know this can happen but its still a shock when you see the scales go up
Try not to be too disappointed Carol. I know this is easier said than done, but we all know that weight fluctuates so much. It's just not easy to see it on the scales. Onwards and downwards to next Saturday!
This was my first week on the diet and I weighed in down 2 lbs this morning. I did think I might lose more as it was my first week but I'm very pleased with the 2 lbs. I fasted Monday and Wednesday and did weigh myself Thursday morning. I had lost 3 lbs then but I've always weighed myself on Saturday mornings so decided I should stick with that. It's given me a boost mentally and I'm excited to continue.

I too weigh in every Saturday morning & this week, after not losing any weight last week, I've lost 2 pounds & I'm finally under the 11 stone hurdle
Carol don't worry too much about putting on a pound, a few weeks ago I put on 3lbs overnight!!!!!! But I carried on with my routine & it settled back down to losing 1lb a week on average. My weight is still slowly going down but my waist & hip measurements haven't really changed in the last few weeks? But I'm sure they'll catch up

Well I fasted yesterday & succumbed to standing on my scales & I have lost 1 & 3/4 lbs but my usual weigh in day is tomorrow so to boost my morale I have recorded today's weight. I know by changing my weigh in day to the morning after fasting I will weigh less but it does feel good. I know I am fooling myself but I other people weigh after their fast day?

I fast on a Friday and Monday, and Saturday is my weigh in day so is after a fast day. It may be unrealistic on the first day, but but the same time next week the benefit will have evened out and you'll be back on level footing.
Saturday is my weigh day and ive lost 3lbs this week, unheard of in my world, im so excited and whats more ive gone through a pyscological barrier, i had a BMI over 40 but now i havent!

Thanks for your support Carol ..really value it ..because i havent told anyone that im doing this. In the past ive boasted im going to slimming world or WW or whatever next diet ..only to come off the wagon and feel silly. Its great having this forum for support.
Yes this forum is great Gemini, full of lovely people always here to help us when needed,no need to feel silly here , we are all in the same boat
I have lost another pound this week, so 8.5lb all together! I am really pleased with that as I only wanted to lose 10lb or so. I have lost 2.5inchs around my waist, 2 from my thighs and 1 from my hips.
