2 weeks in and... still going

Right about now I ususally start giving up on any diet ! Enthusiasm starts to waiver and results are all over the place. But I am delighted to share, that with little effort on the food side (although totally focused on running my couch to 5k programme) I have lost over 4 lbs in 2 weeks That was subsequent to me dieting anyway so I am well chuffed.

I do find the fast days a challenge - not so much the hunger but altering the family habits we have got into around meals and snacks :(

I have a looonng way to go so will be with you all for sometime-

...and hopefully we'll see a similar post from you 12 weeks in, and 22 weeks...and, you get the picture!
There are quite a few who are well past the 6 months and still going strong.
There are lotsof hints and tips on the board about fitting in the family and changing eating habits, so browse away and soak in the info. Ask if you can't find anything specific too. We all want to keep this up and support each other.
Well done on the weigh to go already and good luck with the couch to 5K.

I am also starting my third week today (I fast Tuesdays and Fridays) and I am really enjoying meal times, look more shapely and have much more energy. It is so nice just to concentrate on two days a week rather than every day and I like the flexibility. The great support and information on this Forum is much appreciated.
I'm in for the long haul as well brook123lyn but really feel positive this time. Like you I am usually ready to give up by this time. Also starting my third week and even looking forward to my fasts and that's something I would never have thought 4 weeks ago. :grin:
