ForLife's Progress
24 Apr 2013, 20:23
Hi everyone, I love the idea of updating my progress here. I love reading everyone else's too!

Starting stats:
Date started: April 22
Fast days: Mon/Wed or Mon/Thurs, whatever works best each week
Starting weight: 204 lbs
Goal weight: 140 lbs
Starting BMI: 35.0

I am currently on my 2nd fast day and doing well. Yesterday was a feed day and I managed to eat healthy and stay around 1500 calories. I've also started swimming 2 days a week and getting on the treadmill or bike for 30 minutes 2 days a week as well. I'm hoping to see results like so many of you on here!

Have you entered your stats in the progress tracker, you can make this visible to members too if you want too! Sounds like you have it all planned :) I am doing my 5th fast tomorrow and not dreading it, but wouldn't say I am looking forward to it....yet!

Hi Kim - it sounds like you've made a good start and got some exercise in there too! I'm up to my 7th fast day so quite new too. I really like the flexibility (my fast days depend on what I'm doing at work) - and not having to worry about meals on a fast day!
Good luck

Hello everyone, had my first weigh in today. I'm going to weigh in weekly after my 2nd fast day. I am down 4 lbs! My fast day went well yesterday. My manager took me out for lunch today and I did eat too much, but I am planning a light supper tonight.

Claire, I did put my weight into the progress tracker however I haven't taken any measurements yet. I will do that this weekend!

Sue, I love the flexibility too. It's really what got my attention with this program.

Have a great day everyone!

3rd fast day today, I have it all planned out so shouldn't be too difficult to stay on track. I had feed days from Thursday to Sunday and I have to admit that I didn't keep track at all and I know I was probably eating and drinking too many calories. However, I will see how I do at my weigh in after my two fast days this week!

Claire, how did you do at your weigh in? I try and look back to see how you did!

Have a good day everyone.

My 3rd fast day went very well, tried for my 4th on Wednesday and didn't stay on track unfortunately. :(
Then yesterday hit and I didn't feel like I would be successful so I decided to eat as healthy as possible and fast today. Well, ended up binging on pita chips and chocolate cake. However, I am determined today and so far so good. I am going to save up my 500 calories for supper tonight.
As you all know, it's not an easy road! But I'm not quitting... will weigh in tomorrow morning and post my results then.
At least it's Friday today!!!

I haven't posted in forever, but I'm still going strong!! I am down 5 lbs since I started 6 weeks ago. I have to admit there have been a couple weeks in there that I didn't do as well as I could have. My husband has now started with me and he is down 12 lbs in 4 weeks! My clothes are definitely looser and I've been exercising and feeling really good. I know there are hard weeks for all of us, but it's so worth it to get back at it the next day and move on. Hopefully now that my husband and I are doing this together I will see even better results!
