Fasting Annie's 5:2
03 May 2013, 19:34
I am keeping a blog (which will be my place to go blah blah blah about what I've eaten, how I'm feeling etc.) but thought I would start this journal just to post my weekly progress in more short-hand.

I started this WOE on Thursday 25th April (yes, on a Thursday! so unlike me!) then had a very hedonistic (for me) weekend with booze, buffet food and service station meals!). 2 more fasts this week (Tues & Thurs) and weigh day today.

Well, a little bit disappointed but still glad to have lost 1 lb. I've also lost 1'' off my waist. The more important thing however is that my clothes feel much looser already - as though I've lost more like 4lbs. My husband says I look slimmer already. :victory:

On top of the weight loss, I am really pleased to be craving healthy foods and changing my eating habits on my non-fasting days - breaking the sugar/starch/carb cycle I was on before starting 5:2.

(Ok, it will be shorthand next entry!! )

No need to shorten it... I'm glad to have another verbose poster about the place

Well done - it sounds like you are going great guns :like:
