Xie's Progress

Thanks for hosting such an inspirational board!

I'm going to lose 84.4 lbs.

Today is my very first fast day. I've never been a 3 meals a day person and so far, am not terribly hungry. I ate 100 calories of yogurt for breakfast and 100 calories of soup for lunch. I'm trying to drink water and having a hard time (one 12 oz. cup of unsweetened tea midmorning, about 15 oz. of spring water so far, and I'm forcing myself to drink it because I know I should, but I do not feel thirsty). I'll have a little bit of homemade roast and vegetables for dinner. Next fast day I think I will try eating only one meal rather than three small ones.

Hello Xie and welcome
determination! love it. If you're not a three meal person, don't have three meals- simple! You are right to drink plenty though whether you feel you need it or not. By the time we are aware of thirst, we are already getting dehydrated. Why not try a slice of lemon or lime in your water, or sparkling water or a wee splash of squash/mixy up juice to make it more palatable.
Is your name Chinese? Where are you in the world- we like to know these things :)
Maybe fill in the profile and tracker stats at the side and tell us a bit about yourself.
Good luck and let us know how you get on
