I started doing 5:2 last September.
I watched the MM programme and having my MiL die suddenly of a heart attack rather focused my mind. And my husbands.
So on the first day of term I weighed 10:00
which made my BMI around 22 - which on somebody light framed like me did NOT look good.

By the end of the autumn term I was down to 8:12
put on a bit over Christmas
but have lost it again.
And am now 8:11
and plan to stay this weight for as many years as I can manage.
Hi talkinpeace

After starting IF nearly a year ago, I'm also at the weight I feel comfortable with (I refuse to call it 'My goal weight!) at 9st 2-4 (down from 10-10) and that's it.

It took until November to get there - but I only fully embraced 5:2 in August.

I'm now in complete control over my weight - which hasn't happened in many decades! :D
Well done guys, it's really inspiring reading posts like these :like:
Just to second that well done - well done! Very inspiring. Any tips on maintenance you guys have would be gratefully received - for when I get to my own 'comfort weight'!
