The long-awaited ''health star rating'' website, for food manufacturers to label their products with easy-to-understand nutritional information, was launched about midday on Wednesday, only to be pulled by 8pm that night.

worth reading if you are from Oz.
I gather the info on it wasn't too bad. I'm sure there was no industry lobbying :wink:
Saw a bit on our news about a new free app which when you scan an item gives you a healthy alternative, if there is one, along with nutritional info. Looks good. Need to try it out in store, a bit dubious as I don't usually get a signal in supermarkets. It's called "food switch"
