Based on membership here, 5:2 (and IF in general) seems really popular in Australia. ADF/EODD got a bit of press right after Krista Varady's book came out, but it's gone rather quiet, especially relative to the coverage of 5:2 in UK and Australia.
A teacher at the staff room table said " I couldn't have any of that tiramisu cake yesterday because I was fasting" , I hadn't told anyone all year and no one asked why on Thursdays I had just a coke zero at lunch time and now I have someone to chat to about it. So its spreading even in my little corner.
