I recently read about a reporter who turned the food pyramid upside down for a month. He was eating very little carbs and filling up with high protein high fat foods. At the same time he went for more natural less processed food. His stats (cholesterol, blood pressure etc) improved. I will see if I can dig it out and post a link.
